The Combined League Honor Choir Festival is Thursday, February 22, 2018 and is combined with the Combined League Honor Orchestra.  Dr. Leila Heil, CU Boulder, will be our guest clinician.

Congratulations!  280 high school choral students from 15 high schools submitted auditions.  137 students were selected for the CLHC 2018 Honor Choir:

Fee payment and completed forms are due by February 1st, 2018.

A schedule and other festival information will be posted soon.  Concert is Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the UCCC, Greeley, Colorado.  



All auditions will be recorded. Please specify the voice part your student is auditioning for: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass. Auditions consist of a cappella singing the following:

“America” (My Country Tis of Thee) in the following key:
Sopranos: Bb Major (7th above middle C)
Altos: C major (middle C)
Tenors: G major (below middle C)
Basses: A major (full octave and a half below middle C)

Major Scale, ascending and descending (any syllable)
Sopranos: G major (5th above middle C)
Altos: A major (3rd below middle C)
Tenors: G major (4th below middle C)
Basses: A major (full octave and a half below middle C)

Harmonic Minor Scale, ascending and descending (any syllable)
All voice parts will sing C Harmonic Minor Scale


Combined League is a terrific organization that gives freshmen through senior choir students an opportunity to work with a renowned conductor/clinician and meet other high school musicians from across the front range. Eligible students must attend school north of I-70 and east of the Continental Divide, and be enrolled in the school’s music program. If you know of any teachers who are new to the area, please forward this information to them.
